Jonesboro Mayor Harold Copenhaver and Craighead County Judge, Marvin Day signed a proclamation in April recognizing the month as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Members of CASA of the 2nd Judicial District and the NEA Children's Advocacy Center were present for the proclamation and enjoyed putting pinwheels and signs in front of the courthouse to raise awareness about child abuse.
